Gdansk and Sopot together with Gdynia form part of the Trojmiasto (Tricity) and are situated in the Pomerania region overlooking the Baltic Sea. These two cities have nurtured some of Poland’s most successful table tennis players, with Andrzej Grubba, Leszek Kucharski and Natalia Partyka all playing a crucial role in fostering the sport of table tennis in Poland.
